TRANSITPAC
TRANSITPAC is a bipartisan political action committee and a connected organization of the Oklahoma Transit Association.
TRANISTPAC's mission is to find and support candidates for state or federal offices who make advancing public transit a priority for their constituents, or a candidate running for reelection who has proven to be a friend of transit.
TRANSITPAC hosts fundraising events and accepts contributions or makes expenditures for the following purposes: (1) to make contributions to candidates or a candidate committee;
(2) to make contributions to other associated PACs; (3) to make independent expenditures; (4) to make electioneering communications; or (5) to advocate the approval or defeat of a state question.
TRANSITPAC EVENTS
TRANSITPAC events are held annually, usually in conjunction with the OKTA Annual Conference. If you are intersted in hosting or donating, please contact us.
WHY DONATE?
TRANSITPAC is an important part of OkTA's overall advocacy efforts, because it gives transit providers a tangible means to support candidates who will help transit move forward.
