The Rolling Oklahoma Classroom is an innovative initiative funded by a grant provided by the Federal Transit Administration. The bus's purpose is to raise awareness of public transportation options in urban, rural, and tribal areas. In addition to addressing human trafficking awareness and prevention throughout the state, it offers transit workers hands-on, practical safety and security training.

The Rolling Oklahoma Classroom is a one-of-a-kind project supported by a Federal Transit Administration grant. The bus is designed to enhance awareness of public transit options in rural, tribal, and urban communities.  It will also provide hands-on safety and security training for transit workers and address human trafficking awareness and prevention across the state. It is available to every community, tribal nation, and public event in Oklahoma by request and at no cost. SPONSORS

The project is made possible through strong public and private partnerships that includes a $350,475 grant from the Federal Transit Administration, as well as matching funds from state organizations and private businesses. EMBARK donated the bus and has committed to servicing the vehicle throughout the first 30 months of the program, and several other stakeholders, including Tulsa Transit, Grand Gateway EDA, The Oklahoma Tribal Transportation Council, Oklahoma Transit Association, and several private companies have made significant in-kind and monetary donations for the project.
